The Lord Jesus Christ

Many today in proffessing christendom say the believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and yet deny His Sovereignty in salvation. Lets look at the meaning of lord:

1) he to whom a person or thing belongs, about which he has power of deciding; master, lord
a) the possessor and disposer of a thing
1) the owner; one who has control of the person, the master
2) in the state: the sovereign, prince, chief, the Roman emperor
b) is a title of honour expressive of respect and reverence, with which servants greet their master
c) this title is given to: God, the Messiah

All the above definitions are important, but the first one is the most neglected aspect of my Lords lordship, and that is he has decided who will be saved, soley based on his sovereignty or lordship. It is only his elect, his chosen ones that he has decided/ purposed to save, those given him by the Father. The Lord Jesus Christ sovereignty is manifested in preaching election, and predestination. It is seen in the truth about reprobation, and sovereign discrimanating grace.

So my question today is this: How can those who claim to be christians by believing on The Lord Jesus Christ, and yet deny or are ignorant of his sovereignty in salvation in saving only those that were chosen by God the father ?
